The talented Victoria Georgieva - the Bulgarian representative in "Eurovision 2021" visited Plovdiv over the weekend

The young, beautiful and talented singer Victoria Georgieva - VICTORIA, who will represent Bulgaria at the "Eurovision 2021" in Rotterdam, Netherlands, visited Plovdiv over the weekend. She was accompanied by an international group of journalists who are in Bulgaria at the invitation of the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Eurovision delegation. They are representatives of Eurovision-Spain.com - the largest and most visited Eurovision site in Spain, Wiwibloggs.com - the largest and most visited Eurovision site in Europe, ESCXtra.com - a large independent site for Eurovision based in London, Eurovoxx.tv - an extremely popular and independent site among the Eurovision fan bases, based in Great Britain, One News - the largest private news channel in Malta. People from the Bulgarian delegation for Eurovision 2021 were also present in Plovdiv.

The Municipality of Plovdiv, in the role of host of the international group, was represented by the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Archeology and Tourism Plamen Panov. He, together with a professional guide, managed within a few hours on the first day of the visit to show some of the most remarkable sites of the rich architectural, historical and cultural heritage of the city, as well as to give several interviews in which he told about Plovdiv. The group visited Tsar Simeon's Garden, the Odeon, the newly opened Episcopal Basilica of Philippopolis, the Roman Stadium, the Main Street, the newest art space- the Dimitar Georgiev Gallery, the Ancient Theater and several other sites in the Old Town. In addition to photos, videos, Instagram and Facebook posts, reports and interviews, the journalists who visited Plovdiv made many photo shoots with Victoria at the remarkable sites.

The charming, smiling and talented VICTORIA, which has a specific voice and built its own musical style, will perform at "Eurovision 2021" with the song Growing Up Is Getting Old. The young singer will be the 13th Bulgarian participant in the competition. "Eurovision 2021" will be held in Rotterdam on 18, 20 and 22 May. Viewers in Bulgaria can watch the show live on BNT 1 from 22:00 h.

Victoria started her music career after her participation in the fourth season of X Factor Bulgaria. She was born on 21 September 1997 in Varna. She started singing at the age of eleven. After some time she enrolled in the vocal studio "Angel Voices", where her music teacher is Atanaska Lipcheva. The singer auditioned for the first 3 seasons of X Factor Bulgaria, but her age is the main problem to continue her participation. She became popular when she was only 17 years old and was among the finalists in the fourth season of X Factor. Fans fall in love with her exceptional voice and strong stage presence, according to a video on the Celebrity Box channel on Vbox.

Her first solo single "Unfinished Novel" appeared a few months after the young singer signed a contract with the label "Monte Music" and participated in the successful summer project "Nothing Accidental", along with Niki Bakalov and Venzy. In 2017 Victoria leaves Monte Music. In 2018 in Los Angeles, California, the singer wrote and recorded her first English song "I Wanna Know", which was released in June 2019. The song also has a music video, which was directed by Dimitri Stefanov and produced by Velina Ilieva.

On 25 November 2019, it was revealed that Victoria will represent Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020 in Rotterdam with the song "Tears getting sober". The song was named one of the favorites of the competition, but it was canceled due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19. A little later it was announced that Vicky will represent our country at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021. In June 2020, Vicky released the song "Alright", which was created on one of the Eurovision campuses. In November she released her third single "Ugly Cry", which was just as successful as the previous two.
