The citizens and the guests of Plovdiv will have the pleasure to see a real British theater on the big screen as a part of the well-known movie festival “Film Nights in Philippopolis”.

From 8th until 30th of July this year will be held the 18th edition of the most popular and beloved cinema event in Plovdiv. As usual the festival will take place in summer cinema “Orpheus” and the price of the tickets is between 6 – 10 BGN. The tickets can be purchased from the checkout in summer cinema “Orpheus” or online at www.boxoffice.bg.

This year’s edition of Film Nights in Philippopolis will not only continue its traditions but also go beyond them. Twenty – four days abundant of premiers, movies with awards from world festivals, favorite blockbusters, the latest Bulgarian productions… And many more!

The grand opening of the festival is reserved for the blockbuster “Hamlet” with Benedict Cumberbatch in the leading role. "Hamlet" is played in London's art center "Barbican" and tickets for the play were sold almost a year before the premiere.
