Plovdiv was presented during the most massive event in the tourist branch World Travel Market.
The event is being carried out annually in London and is visited by over 50, 000 professionals in the tourist industry, ministers and representatives of the global media. This year Plovdiv took part in the market again for the period 2-5 November. The city is presented in a workplace on the national stand on Bulgaria. 
Plovdiv was presented as a cultural destination with a huge historical heritage. The main accents were its proclamation for European Capital of Culture, as well as the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe and the upcoming VII International Meeting for Tourism, which is going to take place at the end of November. The newest tourist products were exhibited, such as the wine map of the region, which marks the first wine route in the country. 
The event, which takes place for the 36-th time has contributed to exchanging contacts between 2.5. mlrd participants.
