The world-famous SVETLIN RUSEV, first violinist of the Orchestra of the French National Radio and the Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul, Korea, is going to be soloist of State Opera orchestra on Thursday (29.10) during the famous concert Sibelius in the Concert Hall at 7:00 p.m. Svetlin Rusev is a professor in violin in Paris and plays the violin Stradivarius from 1710.
The concert will be conducted by Dyan Chobanov. 
On the 31-st of October an incredible event will happen in the Balabanov house. This will be the concert of VASSI& THOMAS. The audience spares no words for the amazing duo:

Born in Paris, Thomas Enhco is one of the best modern jazz players. He has played in various countries round four continents, composed the music set of „Aux Arts, Citoyens!” and „Les Cinq Parties du Monde” by Gerard Mordillat.
Vassilena Serafimova has graduated from the National School for Arts in her hometown Pleven, then the College for Music and Dance in Paris and Julliard School in New York. She is a bearer of prestigious awards from musical contests, one of which is the Grand reward from Fifth Marimba Contest in Stuttgart, Germany. She has played around Europe, Asia, Central and North America. Since 2009 she is an artist in the Dutch company Adams and from 2014 she has been part of the American Zildjian, as well. Together with Jean-Baptiste Leclere she has created the drum ensemble „Paris Percussion Group”.
The duo VASSI&THOMAS – piano and marimba, was established in 2009 and since then has participated in prestigious festivals, such as „Pianissimes”, „Cuivres en Fête”, „Middelheim” and many others. They have given concerts in countries like France, USA and Lebanon. 
The festival is carried out with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv, Foundation America for Bulgaria, Municipal Institute Old Plovdiv, Ministry of Culture and others.
