In the period between 3th to 5th July 2015, Plovdiv Municipality participated in the festival “Bulgaria – traditions and culture” held in Paris, France. The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism of Bulgaria in cooperation with Sofia Municipality and was focused on highlighting the Bulgarian tourist regions, cuisine, customs, crafts, and cultural heritage. It was one of the side events of the exhibition in the Louvre – “Epopee of Thracian Kings”. 
Those who visited Plovdiv’s Municipality stand had the chance to get acquainted with the city’s tourist product, tourist attractions in Plovdiv, the Roman and Revival heritage, the cultural calendar, as well as possible itineraries in Plovdiv and the region. Accent at Plovdiv’s Municipality stand was also the title “European Capital of Culture for 2019”. 
The festival was very successful with over 10 000 visitors.
