10th Sofia Film Fest in Plovdiv will take place from 12th to 22nd March in "Lucky Cinema''.

The cinematic event will be the strongest one of all editions so far. 
This year Bulgarian cinema celebrates its 100th anniversary thus Georgi Balabanov's ''Petrov's Record'' will open the festival along French screenwriter Jean-Claude Carriere who just won an Oscar for lifetime achievements at the latest Academy awards.

The Oscar nominated ''Leviafan'' by Andrey Zayagintsev for ''Best foreign language film'' will have its Bulgarian premiere of the movie at the festival. Plovdiv will also meet the Oscar winner Danis Tanovic- the director of ''No man's land'' on 13 March.This time he will present to us his new movie ''Tigers''. Another peculiar accent of the festival will be Fatih Akin's ''The Cut''. A chance to meet Georgy Dyulgerov will be given to the citizens of the city who will come to the festival with his new title '' Buffer Zone''. Many other movies and guests will give Plovdiv a scent of cinema and cinema making. Schedule of the festival to come soon.
