For the first time in Plovdiv: Diana Dafova sings in 17 languages in the musical-theatre performance "The Dance of Life"

On January 24, 2024, Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m., at the House of Culture "Boris Hristov", the Plovdiv public will have the pleasure of seeing for the first time Diana Dafova's author's music-theatre performance, which is called "The Dance of Life". In it, the performer enters 7 images, combining musical performances in 17 languages with an artistically presented text, an intriguing dramatic line, choreography, original costumes and special effects.

An innovative application "Inner voice" with a 3D image of a personal avatar partner in an unusual and surprising session. A portal opens leading to 7 rooms, and the key to each of them is in the pure hearts. The creative, new and different form of stage art in the performance "The Dance of Life" offers variety and a rich picture of skills united in a common goal. The play tells "your story" - the one you've always wanted to know and now you have the opportunity to get the answers.

The possibilities, stage presence and boundless talent of Diana Dafova have long been known to the public. She is a composer, performer and producer with an extremely successful career and a unique musical style. She was born in Sofia, where she graduated in jazz piano and singing at the Academy of Music. She works in parallel with classical and jazz ballet. She is the founder of the popular group "Trick", and in 1985 she started an independent career. Her songs "No easy happiness", "Different worlds", "No late love" and "You are my life" became hits. For many years she lived and worked outside Bulgaria. She is the winner of the "Remy" gold award from the 43rd International Film Festival in the USA. She presents her own concert and performances in Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Netherlands, Japan, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Austria, USA and India. Diana Dafova is the first European performer to be an official guest of NASA.

"The Dance of Life" was created by a creative team: Diana Dafova - author and performer, Boris Radev - director, Boryana Sechanova - choreography and Chavdar Variyski - 3D and video post-production.
