Essential oils - a source of health
On 22 and 23 July 2023. The Hippocrates Museum Apothecary at the Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute will hold two activities dedicated to the use of essential oils.
The first one will be on 22.07.2023 at 5.30 pm in the Balabanov House and will be in a theoretical format with a presentation on the benefits of essential oils.
The second activity will be of an applied nature and will be held on 23.07.2023 at 10 am in the courtyard of the Hippocrates Museum Pharmacy.
The classes will be led by Ana Hristova, who is a long-time expert in this field.
Ana Hristova lived with her family in Canada for 20 years, but returned to Bulgaria two years ago. With great enthusiasm and willingness, she took it upon herself to share her knowledge of aromatherapy and the healing properties of herbs through essential oils. These liquid products from nature not only smell wonderful but help and relieve many ailments.
Ana Hristova has been using essential oils for 12 years not only as a remedy for the whole family, but also as a cosmetic. The oils are an ingredient in healing salves for a wide range of skin problems. Ana will talk about the use of essential oils externally and their benefits for calming, meditation, improving sleep, coughs, mosquito protection, and their sun protection properties.
For the past two years, she has been organizing applied workshops and giving presentations on the many uses of essential oils in people's lives.
In Plovdiv Ana Hristova will present an informative presentation on the use of essential oils on July 22, and the next day she will show how everyone can make perfume.
Entrance to both activities is free for all who are interested in an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
