22ND EDITION OF GOLDEN RHYTON FESTIVAL OF BULGARIAN DOCUMENTARY & ANIMATED FILM
The 22nd edition of Golden Rhyton Festival of Bulgarian Documentary and Animated Film is held 30 November – 5 December 2015, Plovdiv. Screening venue: LUCKY Cinema and Petnoto Club. Admission is free.
There are only a few days left until the opening night of the most significant event in the field of Bulgarian documentary and animated film to be held this year between 30 November and 5 December in Plovdiv, the 22nd edition of Golden Rhyton Festival.
The documentaries and cartoons competing for the Golden Rhyton Award will be assessed by a five-member jury presided over by Assoc. Professor Dr. Ivo Draganov and jury members Andrey Paounov, Ivan Tonev, Svetlana Kuyumdzhieva and Simeon Sokerov.
The jury will present awards as follows:
Golden Rhyton for Best Documentary;
Golden Rhyton for Best Animated Film;
Jury’s Special Prize;
Best Director of Documentary Film;
Best Art Director of Animated Film;
Best Debut;
Plovdiv Municipality Award;
Two Special Mentions in both categories.
The Festival’s films will be screened at both LUCKY Cinema and Petnoto Club:
Competition (Hall 1, LUCKY Cinema; Petnoto Club)
Information (Hall 2, LUCKY Cinema).
Admission is free.
Press conferences with the authors attending and answering questions of cinephiles will be held on a daily basis (2-5 December).
The Festival of Bulgarian Documentary and Animated Film is mounted by th Bulgarian National Film Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Plovdiv Municipality.
