The 7-th edition of one of the most massive events for wine tourism – The Young Wine Parade – starts at the end of November. A lot of wine tasting, lectures and a cultural program have been arranged by the Tourism Council-Plovdiv.
The visitors of the traditional market for young Bulgarian wine will be able to enjoy the latest harvest by 26 leading wine producers in the country. They are going to present their wines on 12 locations in the Old Town, including houses, restaurants and open-air places. In most of the locations specially selected food will be prepared for the wine tasting. The honey-producers will also take part with their ecological production.
The official opening of the Young Wine Parade will be on Friday, November 27-th at 13:00 o’clock, with the traditional Dyonisis Parade from the Municipality of Plovdiv to the Old Town leaded by Ensemble Trakia. 
The start of the wine tasting will be the traditional opening of the “Young Wine Barrel”, contributed by the Villa Yustina – the golden medalist from the previous year. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the wine tasting will start at 11:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
The wine celebrations will start from Monday, November 23-rd with a cultural program, including dance performances, lectures and tasting, which are going to be free of charge. For the first time a wine tour with love music is organized during the so called “Days of the Young Wine”. During that period the visitors will be able to taste wine in some of the clubs in Plovdiv, accompanied by the jazz and folklore music, created especially for the event by Dobromir Vasilev and Bogdan Ganev.
The main accent this year is the fire and dance show “Legends for Wine”, created particularly for the festival. It will be performed on 26-th of November at 7:00 in the evening at the Roman Stadium. The artists from the fire and shadow theatre Fireter will show you a legend for Ampelor, the favorite satur of Dyonisis, with the help of fire and dance.
The awards for the best wines, determined by the tasting jury, will be given during the “Masters of the Wine Night” on November, 28. 
The visit of the Young Wine Parade has been included in the program of the seventh International Meeting for Tourism, which is going to take place during the same period. This gives opportunities for the international promotion of the event as a part of the National Tourist Calendar, as well as promotion of the Bulgarian wine as a product of national value.
The Young Wine Parade is organized by the Tourism Council and the Municipality of Plovdiv, with the support of the National Chamber of Wine, Municipal Institute “Old Plovdiv”, Municipal Enterprise “Tourism”, SOL Communications, Foundation “Plovdiv 2019”, professional high-schools and universities, catering companies, producers of souvenirs, all the companies occupied with wine – production and trading, as well as the art and cultural institutions in the city.
