"Plovdiv Vibes" 2021 Festival
Plovdiv Vibes Festival takes over Plovdiv Stage Park - the area of art and culture at the foot of Youth Hill from 1 to 11 July
The Plovdiv Vibes festival started on July 1st. Unfortunately, the weather was not favourable. Tonight, July 2, 2021, the music program begins with Gabbana and the presentation of the new album.
The weekend program includes artistic performances, workshops for children, sports and musical performances on the territory of Plovdiv Stage Park - the area of art and culture at the foot of Youth Hill.
In the first days of the festival, Gabbana presented to the audience their new album PULSE, which is entirely authored in Bulgarian. The group even rebranded its logo, writing its name in Cyrillic. DJs Hilla and LYNN break the stereotype with strong rhythms on Sunday. In the coming days, festival visitors can join various demonstrations and workshops, dedicated to traditional crafts and handicrafts, which will be held on Bunardzhika (Hill of the Liberators) and Youth Hill.
Throughout the week on the stage of Plovdiv Stage park we will hear the favorite Plovdiv and guest artists from the country, as well as the unique Zamunda Banana band, Parapitek, Nearly Dog, Unknownman, Kappa Irie, Gabbana.
Reggae gatherring will be held on July 7th and 8th as part of the festival and during the event we will hear a sound system, specially configured in the original image of the original Jamaican, to make the sound even more impressive.
Ballet Electra Junior at the Plovdiv Cultural Institute under the direction of Margarita Vasileva will be on stage at 19:30 h. on Monday - July 5. The children of Electra Ballet are an example of talent, but also of perseverance, perseverance and determination.
Plovdiv Vibes also presents the Open Stage format, which allows artists and authors from different stage genres to perform. These are street artists, DJs, dance and sports clubs. The stage has an open invitation, which guarantees variety and exciting experiences.
The festival also presents a handmade area, which provides a field for expression of various handmade artists and authors working with natural materials. The Youth Hill will also present various workshops for children with textiles, painting and working with recycled materials.
Plovdiv Vibes is a festival with care for nature. During the festival, various recycling points will be set, and the partner organization BG Be Active will provoke the audience to recycle, presenting the installation "Do you recycle", part of the campaign "I want to be useful - Recycle me".
On Saturday - 10.07 from 11h. in Lauta Park, as part of the festival, children can take part in Urban Adventures, which will also draw the attention of disadvantaged children.
On Sunday on the playground on Bunardzhika Hill (Hill of the Liberators) again from 11 am. chldren will be immersed in the world of traditional crafts with thematic demonstrations presented by authors and craftsmen Iva Ivanova and Daniela Goralova.
