On May 29 and 30, 2021 / Saturday and Sunday / from 10.00 to 17.00 h. the National Library "Ivan Vazov" - Plovdiv, together with the Municipality of Plovdiv, the Joint Command of Special Operations / SCSO /, the Association for Social, Health and Legal Assistance / ASZPP / and club "Agartha" organize Children's Festival of Knowledge and Movement - "We read, play sports, we succeed!". The children will be able to get acquainted with a healthy and active lifestyle, safe living in nature, the activities of institutions and organizations related to tourism, ecology, sports, pre-medical care, etc. There will be presented equipment, rescue methods and other survival techniques. The demonstrations will take place around and in the Vienna pavilion of Tsar Simeon's Garden. Again in the park will be held orienteering in urban conditions. At the same time, in an alpine way, the north wall of the Library will be climbed.

The opening of the festival is on May 29 at 10.00 in front of the Library.

The programme also includes other events that will take place in the Vienna Pavilion and the spaces around the park.
The Regional Museum of Natural History - Plovdiv will present on May 29 and 30 a mobile exhibition "RIVER OF BIODIVERSITY" with realistic models of animals.
On May 29, the Bulgarian Society for Protected Birds will organize bird watching and lectures, various games and activities for children.
On May 29 and 30, the Municipal Shelter for Stray Dogs will introduce children to animal care and how a dog can be adopted. Similar pets will attend the event. Children will have the opportunity to communicate with them, to touch and caress them.
On May 29, SpeleoClub Association - "Puldin" will demonstrate equipment and techniques for rescue and diving, penetration into caves and their study.
On May 29 and 30, the Wilder Rhodopes Foundation will present an exhibition and photos from this beautiful Bulgarian mountain.

The Association of Parents of Children with Hearing Impairment will present what they have made in the creative groups and will demonstrate communication through gestures.

The partners from the Bulgarian Tourist Union will show and demonstrate winter and summer equipment and mountain rescue facilities.
