An exquisite performance guarded by a fallen angel, woven into the scenography of the Ancient Theater!

The favourite soloists of the audience of OPERA OPEN 2019 return to Plovdiv to partner in the premiere production of the director URSULA HORNER (Austria). Two big opera names - José Cura (Argentina) and Carlos Almaguer (Mexico), compete for the heart of Floria Tosca (Tania Ivanova) in a story of jealousy, passion, murder and politics in which the characters destroy each other. The artists and the orchestra are led musically by the internationally acclaimed expressive conductor Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli (Italy).
