CARUSO GALA - Concert with the most significant arias from the repertoire of the great tenor

The 100th anniversary of the famous tenor will be marked with performances of iconic opera arias and canzonettes from his repertoire.

Italian tenors Fabio Armigliato and Angelo Fiore arrive in Bulgaria in early June for two gala concerts dedicated to one of the most notable tenors in the history of opera - Enrico Caruso. The 12th season of the Summer Opera Festival will open on June 11 with the Caruso Gala, and on June 12 the spectacular event will move to the stage of the Ancient Theater - Plovdiv. The large-scale events are carried out by the Varna State Opera in partnership with the Music Art New Imagine agency - Italy.

In the brilliant ensemble of soloists in "Caruso Gala" there are three famous names from the Bulgarian scene. The Golden Voices Ivan Momirov, Valeri Georgiev and Daniel Damyanov are artists with international recognition and touring on the most prestigious opera stages in Europe and the world.

In the repertoire of Enrico Caruso we find the most popular arias of the genius Italian composers Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, Maskani, etc. They will sound on the open stages in Varna and Plovdiv in his honor. The tenor who changed the world of music is the most recorded singer of his time. Possessing a phenomenally powerful dramatic tenor, the "golden-voiced wizard of Naples" remains in the history of world singing as one of the most beautiful opera voices and one of the highest achievements of the Italian singing school in the twentieth century.
