Gerasim Georgiev - Hero in "Run for Your Wife" between two women on the Plovdiv stage
 
Drama Theater "Stefan Kirov", Sliven is visiting Plovdiv with the production "Run for Your Wife" by Ray Cooney. The main role in the play is played by the popular comedian Gerasim Georgiev - Gero. Nikolina Yancheva, Vyara Nacheva, Ivaylo Gandev, Augustin Demerdzhiev, Dimitar Markov are partners on his stage.

"Run for Your Wife" will be played on 5 May 2021 at 19:00 h. in the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov".

The director of the show is the former Deputy Minister of Culture Vasil Vassilev. The troupe claims that this is the most popular production of the Sliven Theater in the last 30 years. And to Gero it brought his first theatrical award - "Favorite 13", in Dimitrovgrad. The set designer is Milena Stoyanova.

"Run for Your Wife" is a typical play of situations. So, whether the taxi driver John (played by Gerasim Georgiev-Gero) is in London, Sofia, Plovdiv or Sliven, he is trying to cope with the difficult situation to make the right choice. John is married simultaneously for two women who live in two different neighborhoods, in two different apartments. Everything goes well untill one night he is late to come home. Of course - both his wives call the police. Of course both police stations respond. Of course John has to answer both calls, and from then on a bunch of comic and absurd situations arise, from which John tries to escape.

Tickets are sold at the box office of MaskArt in the Hall of Culture "Boris Hristov".
