The exhibition "The Ancient Woman" is a collection of jewelry made with the micro-macrame technique. The materials used for these jewelry are semi-precious stones and wax thread. 20 sets have been made. In order to relate to this art, with an audio background will be provided created by the author for the exhibition. The composed music contains melodies and chants with acoustic percussion instruments.

The video, broadcast on screen all the time, aims to introduce the viewer to the mystery of the production, showing up close the process of tying, the tools used, as well as a video interview with the author, who talks about the inspiration in creating jewelry.
Micro-macrame is a jewelry art whose technique is the same as that of macrame, but on a smaller scale with threads of 0.5 - 1 mm wide. Macrame is a type of needlework in which the knot performs not only the functional role of joining two threads strings, but also a decorative role.
The author of the exhibition is Silvia Metodieva - opera and jazz singer and fiber artist, whose main material is the thread. As a musician she performs concerts, conducts voice training. 
There is also a workshop - training, which will give the opportunity to touch the creative process and understanding of the technique of production, which will be held at the end of the exhibition.
The opening will take place on March 17, 2021 at 6.30 pm with the special participation of soprano Evgenia Ralcheva. Together with Silvia Metodieva they will perform popular duets from the opera classics.
