In September, the Ivan Vazov National Library in Plovdiv will join the European Heritage Days 2020 initiative. The center of the events is on September 19 and 20, but some of them start earlier and others will end by the end of the month. From 10.09.2020 children aged 3 to 7 years from the kindergarten "Magic" will visit the Children's Department of the library for ten days and will get acquainted with the sights of Ancient Plovdiv, which will gradually recreate in a collage. The Children's Department itself will work overtime on 19.09. from 10.00 to 17.00, and talks will be given on the topic of European cultural heritage, and those interested will be able to register as readers of the library. On the same date on the first floor of the National Library "Ivan Vazov" at 10.00 will be opened an exhibition "Symbols of Statehood", presenting part of the personal collection of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lyudmil Georgiev (longtime police officer and current lecturer in Forensics) of over 750 police, firefighter, army and naval caps, hats, berets, hats, caps, helmets and helmets from around the world. In parallel with this in the exhibition spaces of Municipal Council - Plovdiv from 15.09. again from the collection of Assoc. Prof. Georgiev, the library, the Municipal Council and the Numismatic Society "Philippopolis" will present uniforms of the same nature.

A center of the events on 19 and 20 September will be the ascent of the northern side of the library in an alpine way from 11.00 to 16.00. The Association for Social, Health and Legal Aid and the Agartha Climbing Club. Children of different ages can take part in the ascent, with the help and under the supervision of specialists.
In parallel, in the lobby of the first floor of the National Library "Ivan Vazov" on 19 and 20 September will be able to see an exhibition presenting historical data about the Aeroclub - Plovdiv, parachute equipment and other parachuting equipment. At the same time, in the Vienna Pavilion in Tsar Simeon's Garden, there will be events for children and adults related to aviation.
