The world-famous opera prima Krassimira Stoyanova opens the XI International Festival "Days of Music in Balabanov House" 2020

On June 16, 2020, the International Festival "Days of Music in Balabanov House" - one of the most elite forums for classical music in Bulgaria, part of the Cultural Calendar of the Municipality of Plovdiv - opens its doors with a series of eight significant concerts.

True to its mission to present indisputable examples of the music scene today, the Festival since its opening climbs the highest peak with a concert by world-famous opera prima Krassimira Stoyanova, chamberlain of the Vienna Opera, which will take place on the stage of the Little Early Christian Basilica.

The piano accompaniment is entrusted to the prominent pianist Boryana Lambreva. Due to the huge interest in the event, in addition to happening live in the hall, it will be broadcasted on a mounted screen in the courtyard of the Small Basilica, thus a larger audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the angelic voice of the famous singer. .

The musical feast continues the next day, June 17, when on the open stage in Hindlian House will sound the baroque violin of Zefira Valova - undisputed leader in Bulgaria in the field of preclassics, baroque bassoon by Sabina Yordanova and harpsichord by Vasily Ilisavski.

One of the bright highlights in the spring edition of the XI MF "Days of Music in Balabanov House" is the recital on June 30 in Balabanov House of the Queen of Marimba - Vasilena Serafimova, who for years conquered the world with her instrumental mastery and creativity.

Among the famous participants in the Festival are the famous vocal ensemble "Svetoglas", the brilliant violinist Zornitsa Ilarionova - winner of two awards from the ranking "Musician of the Year" of the BNR Allegro Vivache, the prominent cellist Atanas Krastev, the delightful and admirable ”, The talented young pianist - graduate of NUMTI“ Dobrin Petkov ”Nikolay Marinov.
