Due to Order № RD-01-272 / 20.05.2020 of the Minister of Health regarding the introduction of temporary anti-epidemic measures on the territory of Republic of Bulgaria, and Order № 09-533 / 20.05.2020 of the Minister of Youth and Sports, from May 20, 2020 to June 14, 2020, it is not allowed to hold mass sports events in open and indoor places (in sports centers, clubs, etc.).

The First National Walking Festival took place on May 19, 2019, in Plovdiv, uniting the ideas of health, active sport, movement and healthy nutrition with the motto of the Medical University of Plovdiv "Dedicated to Humanity".
