"Three ... is a show for the search"
Three ... is a unity between theater and dance.
Three ... is man's path to self-knowledge.
Three ... is a metamorphosis.
Three ... is the mystical child.

"Three is a spectacle of search" - the true path of man, leading to self-knowledge. A path that passes through the inner and outer world, similarly expressed through the conscious and unconscious dimension of human consciousness. The process of self-knowledge goes through both the challenges of internal mental conflicts and the trials of communication with the other. Consciousness and wisdom prove to be the most faithful guides in the great challenge leading man to a single wholeness and enlightenment.

aNorange Collective is an art collaboration between two dancers / choreographers - Iris Boer (Netherlands) and Sebastian Pickering (Denmark). The aNorange Collective's current choreographic approach is inspired by the world of photography and is based on the use of still images in stage performance and the creation of movement. The two performers, who equally share the responsibility to create and choreograph, find common ground on the highly conflicting emotional connection to the concept of what "dancing" is - the struggle to want to move and make physically impressive dance performances while maintaining a strong conceptual and intellectual base. .
Picture of a woman and a man at the dinner table. A moment sealed in time, where everything but the frame itself is left to the imagination. Through play of time, speed, repetition and change of details, aNorange collective brings to life a series of photographs, creating a vivid, absurd photo album aimed at challenging the personal imagination and associations of the audience. "Shoot to Still" is the result of research by aNorange Collective's choreographers on still images - motion pictures and choreography.
