Festival program:
September 25, 2020 - Friday
18.00 - Ancient Forum of Philippopolis (in front of the Central Post Office) - beginning of the Parade - a parade of participants in the festival, representing the eras of antiquity, early and late Middle Ages. Roman citizens and matrons, gladiators, slaves, legionnaires, stern medieval warriors, nomads, boyars and despots, knights and French troubadours, all under the flags of the participating groups for historical reconstructions from home and abroad, announced by music and accompanied by dancing.
18.30 - Plovdiv Municipality - official opening of the parade and lighting of the festival fire;
19.00 - Roman Stadium - Ancient ritual for invoking the favor of the gods; Gladiatorial games and military battles; Ancient theatrical production and musical performances of the group "Freya"; Announcing the program of the festival;

September 26, 2020 - Saturday
10.30 am - Official opening;
CAMP "ANTIQUITY" - open from 10:00 to 18:00, presentations of ancient crafts, life and culture, archery, weapon handling; Training of children - legionnaires, battle of recruits with the regular Roman army and awarding the winners; The fashion of the ancient world with the participation of the audience; Antique Winery - the wine of the old world; Battle of Romans and barbarians; Military oath, the defeated in the battle enter the Roman army; Ancient slave market; Ancient rituals;
EARLY MIDDLE AGES CAMP - open from 10:00 to 18:00, demonstrations of early medieval crafts - blacksmithing, plastics, leather, jewelry and clothing accessories; Early medieval food and its preparation in the open air, way of life and culture of the Bulgarians of this era; Horse demonstrations and archery; Presentation of the early Middle Ages, clothing and armaments, military skills and army formation; Demonstration of medieval fighting practices from the ground and from the horse - archery and fighting skills with sword, whip and spear; Medieval school for young warriors - training young people and children in archery, spear, shield and sword;
CAMP "LATE MIDDLE AGES" - open from 10:00 to 18:00, demonstrations of crafts from the late Middle Ages, life and culture of Bulgarians, Romans, Latins and knights in our lands; Presentation of late medieval clothing and armaments, military skills and order; Medieval cuisine and medicine - demonstrations and presentations; Recital of medieval and contemporary poetry; In the court of Despot Alexy Slav - welcoming Henry's daughter; Performance of medieval, renaissance and Occitan music;
19.00 - 20.00 - Musical performance of the group "Freya" and friends - medieval Scandinavian music and medieval songs and dances;

September 27, 2020 - Sunday
From 10.00 - Open-air museum, living history, sightseeing of medieval camps, craft workshops and stands; Presentation of the armies during the different epochs, fighting practices; Military clothing, armament and equipment; Medieval school for young wars - training of young people and children in archery, spear, shield and sword; Antique and medieval games and entertainment for young and old;
14.00 - Closing of the festival.

The event is part of the program of the Autumn Salon of Arts 2020.
