How do you like it?
The momument of Alexander the Great father, Phillip II of Macedon, was erected in 2004 with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, Greece. The impressive sculpture was created by Kiril Naydenov. Initially, the monument was situated in front of the main entrance of the Roman Stadium, downtown Plovdiv. In April 2012, due to the rennovations of the Roman Stadium, the monument was moved in front of the Municipal Council - Plovdiv.
