Bulgaria was presented as a host of the world leading wine cocompetition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in April 2016 on an official event in USA. The prestigious event is organized by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Probegex and the Bulgarian Embassy in USA. 
American official authorities are going to take part in the contest, as well as local wine makers and distributors, including importers of Bulgarian wine.
Bulgarian wines are going to be presented by a few cellars – Bessa Valley, Edoardo Miroglio, Katarzyna Estate, Château Vini, Todoroff, Domaine Boyar and many others. The organizers from Probegex share that over 16 Bulgarian cellars have already confirmed their participation. During the competition over 320 members of a professional jury from 52 nationalities will taste about 9, 000 wines from 55 countries in Plovdiv.
The event is part in the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles’ program for promoting Bulgaria as a wine destination. On December 8 twenty professional wine journalists tasted wines from 4 Bulgarian cellars in New York. 
The 23-rd edition of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is being organized by Probegex, with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Foods and the National Vine and Wine Chamber.
