Graphic art, with its inherent conventions and endless possibilities for expressive impact, creates an atmosphere that no other visual art can replicate. Its perception demands a certain level of knowledge, experience, and aesthetic taste. The conditionality of the means of expression, the particular atmosphere of immersion, and the silence of the graphic page—all these factors contribute to its unique position among the visual arts. The technology of image creation, the resistance of the material, the effect of printing ink on paper, the long process of processing and saturation, and the need for an exceptional mastery of drawing—creating a graphic artwork requires dedication and a high level of professionalism from the artist. It demands its own space, effort, foundation, and experience.

The event is funded by Plovdiv Municipality and is part of the Cultural Calendar of the city for 2025.
