Green creative zone for culture and art

Exhibitions, concerts, theater workshops will liven up and make Izgrev Park even more green on October 11, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A green creative zone for culture and art will be held on the territory of Izgrev Park. The creative zone will give local authors and artists the opportunity to perform, providing them with access to a complex of cultural events in the field of applied and fine arts and crafts, performing arts and dance.

In the Creative Green Workshops, participants will be able to create on an equal footing with professional artists and craftsmen and will have the opportunity to learn and acquire creative and technical skills for reusing and applying different techniques for turning objects and packaging into works of art.

Concerts and a theater workshop will be part of the evening program, where young, novice performers will be able to present songs, dances, theater or other types of performing arts focused on nature themes. The sets for the stage performances will be created during the creative green workshops.

The exhibitions will show the works of talented young artists from the neighborhood, representatives of schools, local schools, academic institutions, and so the young artists will have a kind of solo exhibition in front of a wide audience.

Green talks and games will contribute to the diversity of the event. A different view will also be given by broadcasting visual materials about the consequences of global pollution and the opportunities that recycling creates to reduce it. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of separate waste collection and its advantages.

All events will have unhindered access for persons with disabilities, disadvantaged people and will create an opportunity for social inclusion in the community.
