Welcome to the opening of the exhibition - "Love in an envelope"!

Regional History Museum - Plovdiv can boast of a rich collection of cards and letters of famous and not so famous personalities from past times. Preserved in the museum, they are a reminder of the world before the convenience and speed of electronic communications today.

On February 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., RIM - Plovdiv opens a temporary exhibition "Love in an envelope". The highlight of it will be part of the correspondence between Nayden Gerov and his chosen one, Maria. With the opening of the exhibition, the Regional History Museum - Plovdiv will also present the new exhibition showcases and the result of a number of renovation works carried out under the project of the Municipality of Plovdiv BGCULTURE-1.001-0016 "The cultural heritage of Plovdiv, presented in revitalized, restored and renovated places", financed by the FM of the EEA, which includes a total of 7 cultural institutions - City Gallery of Fine Arts, Regional History Museum, Regional Archaeological Museum, Regional Ethnographic Museum, Regional Natural History Museum, National Library "Ivan Vazov" and Municipal institute "Ancient Plovdiv."
