The 11th edition of "Light and Hope in the Old Town" is coming

The team of the Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv" has prepared a rich program dedicated to the upcoming bright holidays. On December 5, 2023 (Tuesday), at 5:30 p.m., at Atanas Krastev Square ( Lapidarium ), representatives of the diverse ethnic groups and communities in Plovdiv will light the lights of the Christmas tree together.

Thus, for the eleventh year in a row, we start the traditional artistic forum organized by the team of Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv" - "Light and Hope in the Old Town", and we share this holiday, symbolizing faith, kindness, hope and tolerance.

We have a month ahead, full of events and initiatives dedicated to the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. We have prepared a rich program of exhibitions, children's drawing workshops, making Christmas decorations and cards, musical performances, reading tales from the folklore of local communities.

We are inviting you to the festival! Admission to all events is free!
