Bon-Bon's latest musical "The Magic Crown" is a new original show created by Bulgarian authors, performed only by children.
Characters in the musical are a sea king and his daughter, cute multi-colored fish, fish guards, jellyfish, sea devils, goblins and the evil octopus witch Gundula von Crazy.
And what is the story that draws us into the whole sea adventure?
Naive to the point of stupidity and devoted to the coquette fish Bellissima, the Guppy fish agrees to steal the crown of the sea king. But he does not know that the crown is magical, and if it falls under the influence of evil forces, the kingdom will be attacked by sea devils, goblins and other creatures of the sea. And a huge octopus, which is brought to life by 8 small artists, has tentacles that stretch up to 3 meters.
In "The Magic Crown", the colorful director Biserka Kolevska, winner of numerous international awards, manages to tickle the childishness in the soul of every viewer. The music and libretto are by Stefan Dimitrov and Gergana Sotirova - authors of Bon-Bon's hit musical "The Cat Band". The arrangements are by the young musicians Tsvetan Marinov /group Funkilishus/ and Emilio Markholev /group Sol Flat/, mix and mastering - Pavel Nikolov /Pavel and Venci Venc'/, and the rich vocal arrangements are by Yana Baleva and Elizabeth Nesheva, recorded in "LaTiDA ” records. The main highlight of "The Magic Crown" is the brilliant choreography of Milen Dankov, and the costume designer Elena Tsonkova is responsible for transforming the child actors into fairy-tale characters.
The producer of "The Magic Crown" is Rozi Karaslavova, who successfully built Bon-Bon as the most famous and respected children's group in the country, realized Bulgaria's first participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, produced hundreds of works, concerts and TV shows, traditionally participated in the biggest charity campaigns.
Bon-Bon look confidently to the future, because good music will never disappear.
