On July 29 (Saturday) 2023 at 6.20 pm above the Ancient Theatre in the concert hall of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts Prof. Assen Diamandiev.
We are expecting the magical sounds of the piano of the virtuoso POLLY FЕRMAN and the magical charm of the "soul" of Argentine tango - the bandoneon - performed by the one who was a member of the sextet of ASTOR Piazzolla and the tango orchestra of OSWALDO PULIESE - DANIEL BINELLI himself!
Immersing yourself in the mystique of ARGENTINE TANGO in such a stellar presence is something that is always worthwhile!

from 20:00 to 21:00 A CONCERT by our special stars of the event, world famous musicians and ambassadors of tango culture: maestro Daniel Binelli (bandoneón) and maestra Polly Furman (piano).
They come for the second time in Bulgaria and again only in Plovdiv!

Daniel Binelli
A star in Argentina and the only living legend of the Astor Piazzolla Orchestra.
World famous composer, arranger, master of the bandoneon. He was a member of Osvaldo Pugliese's tango orchestra and Astor Piazzolla's sextet. In 1989 Daniel Binelli joined Piazzolla's New Tango Sextet and toured internationally.
Binelli is also widely recognized as the most distinguished exponent of Astor Piazzolla's music. 
He has been a guest soloist in many symphony and tango orchestras around the world.
An accomplished composer in his own right, Binelli creates and arranges music for solo instruments, quintet, chamber and symphony orchestras, dance and film music. His versatility allows him to work in all tango styles from past to present.

Polly Ferman
A world-renowned virtuoso pianist, music director, educator, and leading interpreter of the music of the Americas, she has captivated audiences with outstanding performances of works by Latin American composers and, of course, the works of the King of Tango Nuevo, Astor Piazzolla.
Polly Ferman has been recognized by The Japan Times as "America's Musical Ambassador." Her many recordings include music influenced by the various styles of Latin America.
In her tours as a soloist, Ferman performs with prestigious orchestras around the world. 
A cultural entrepreneur, Fеrman is the founder and artistic director of Pan American Musical Art Research, an organization she founded in 1984 to foster awareness and appreciation for the cultures of Latin America.
