Oft Robin is a band composed of three of the most forward thinking young Bulgarian musicians. A trio with a common ambition and search for originality, unpredictability and constant musical reinvention.
Oft Robin's compositions are the basis for an open improvisational dialogue that brings together the melodic lyricism and minimalist musical approach of Benev, the rhythmic power and influence of Hafizi's progressive rock, and Dimitrov's obsession with "beats", "riffs" and the search for an innovative sound on bass guitar.
Oft Robin is a project founded in 2019. Since its inception, the band has toured periodically in Bulgaria, Austria, the Netherlands and Norway, played with the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band and represented Bulgaria in 2022 at the annual European Jazz Conference symposium as part of the European Jazz Community selection.
Oft Robin is a project represented by enovae records.
