Ancient Theatre

The immense journey of the spirit that the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv offers in itself will acquire an even more exciting sound, thanks to the award-winning talent of Krasi Avramov, who on 13 September will stage his concert-performance "Bulgarian World" in the confines of one of the most iconic places in the country. 

Together with the Man of Voice, who has had a worldwide musical career, 120 artists will take to the stage to perform another interpretation of his songs, as well as his brand new works - 18 compositions in total. 

The Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Dimitar Kosev, the State Music Theatre Ballet, the Plovdiv Boys Choir, performers from Philip Kutev, guests from Japan - taiko drummers Takuya and world famous violinist Keren Briggs, known from Yanni's concerts at the Acropolis, will take part.

The host will be the actor Nikolay Sotirov, the arrangements of the songs are the work of Rumen Boyadzhiev Jr. and Dobromir Kisov. The band that will play during the special evening, which promises to become a truly unforgettable experience, will be composed of the best musicians in the country, gathered and led by pianist Kalin Zhechev. 

In order to make the concert, which Miles Production and the Continue the Good Foundation are behind, truly memorable, it is almost certain that a foreign music star, whose hit last year had people all over the planet singing along, will be taking part. However, his name is still being kept secret.
