The exhibition has gathered the rarest and most complete costumes from the private collections of three Kazanlak residents: Lilia Getova, Daniela Dimitrova and Anton Gudov.

Liliya Getova and Daniela Dimitrova met when they founded the Kalina Trio, which gained popularity in folklore circles both for its performance of Bulgarian folk songs and for its exhibitions of costumes.

Anton Gudov was born in the town. He is born in Kazanlak, but his parents' roots are entirely Rhodopean and he was ingrained with this music, dialect and culture. Therefore, his mission is the search and promotion of unheard songs from the Rhodope Mountains.

For over 8 years, the three have dedicated their efforts to researching, searching, restoring and preserving authentic costumes from all over Bulgaria.

The opening of the exhibition is on June 29 at 18:00h in the Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv. The exhibition can be seen until the end of September.
