The National Autumn Exhibitions will be opened on September 1 in the courtyard of Balabanov House by Prof. Dr. Galina Lardeva - curator of the National Autumn Exhibitions, art historian, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at AMTII "Prof. Prof. Dr. Mladen Vlashki - literary historian, guest lecturer at Georg-August University in Göttingen (Germany) and lecturer at Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv, and Mr. Plamen Panov - Deputy Mayor for Culture, Archaeology and Tourism of Plovdiv Municipality.
At the opening of the event the famous Bulgarian musician Petar Salchev will give a concert in which he will present his latest musical project. For the uncharacteristic format of voice, piano and cello, he trusts the proven names on the contemporary music scene, Yordan Tonovsky and Magdalena Petrovich. The program includes classical works as well as samples of well-known popular and jazz tunes, interpreted in the context of the ensemble's chamber, at times alternative sound.
The National Autumn Exhibitions are one of the most prestigious forums for contemporary Bulgarian fine art and are a key event in the cultural calendar of Plovdiv, organized by the Municipality of Plovdiv. The event is hosted by the Ancient Plovdiv Municipal Institute and the City Gallery of Fine Arts - Plovdiv. The event is supported by Holding KCM 2000 AD, Mihalkovo Ltd. and Aeterna Plovdiv Gallery.
