The seventh edition of the youth rock festival for original music S`COOL ROCK FEST will take place on 17 and 18 June in Lauta Park and will be held under the motto "Rock for a better future".

The festival is aimed entirely at performances by student rock bands from all over Bulgaria. The conditions for participation are: the band must be composed of at least 50 + 1% students and have at least 3 original songs. Between 10 and 12 student rock bands will perform on stage this year, pre-selected by the organizers.

Leaders and mentors will again be members of popular rock bands from the national rock scene. A well-known, proven and beloved band will close the festival. Before the main concerts on both days, guitar clinics and workshops will be held as side events, with the participation of mentors and teachers from leading guitar schools in Plovdiv. In this way, young musicians will have the opportunity to get acquainted with new techniques of making music, with the idea that they will be encouraged to master new knowledge, skills and be stimulated to creativity.  

S`Cool Rock Fest 2023 will once again become an event bringing together the audience and young performers of worthwhile rock music in a complete experience, one of the challenges in the field of musical art in our city. The main goal of the project is to promote young talents, support their creativity and their development as future artists.

The festival is non-competitive and traditionally all bands receive gifts from sponsors, music equipment importers, production companies and other companies in the music business. The project is realized with the financial support of the National Culture Fund.
