Four impressive art events, united in a festival format Made at the Academy, for the third consecutive year present the creative potential of the Plovdiv Art Academy in its entirety: classical music, jazz dance, fine arts, folklore, presented on different stages and locations by students and teachers, leading names in Bulgarian contemporary art.
Made at the Academy starts at the Roman Stadium on 18 May 2023 at 18:30 with the opening of the exhibition "The Academy Today", created by Prof. Dr. Galina Lardeva and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexander Goshev, which presents the three faculties, the representative ensembles and the more significant artistic and scientific forums of the Academy. The exhibition will continue until May.
Half an hour later, at 19:00 also at the Roman Stadium, the Academy Opera Theater raises the curtains with "Sad Monday," a one-act opera by George Gershwin with conductor Asst. Dr. Alia Hanse and directed by Dr. Dima Dimitrova and featuring the vocal ensemble "Pro belcanto".
The second day of the festival on 19 May continues at 18:00 in the temporary exhibition halls of the City Gallery of Fine Arts - Plovdiv which open the doors for the representative Annual Exhibition of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Academy, in which all specialties are represented:

- Graphics
- Sculpture, etc.
As every year, the winning students in the annual student competition will be announced.
From 20:30 The Academy gathers Plovdiv citizens and guests of the city at the Ancient Theatre for the culmination of the festival - the big concert "The Academy invites Plovdiv" with the participation of the representative academic ensembles and ensembles of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, foreign students and PhD students, graduates in performing arts of leading teachers and artists of the Academy, students and lecturers, winners of prestigious international awards for art - conductors, choreographers, dancers, stage designers, singers and instrumentalists, united by the idea Made at the Academy and the aspiration to present to Plovdiv a concert of the highest aesthetic and artistic level.
