International Festival "Days of Thracian Culture 2023"
The festival will be held for the eleventh consecutive year. In the eleventh edition an International Scientific Conference "The Contribution of Thracian Culture in the Formation of European Civilization" will be held, with the participation of researchers in the field of Thracology, Thracian archaeology, epigraphy and numismatics. Over two days, papers will be presented with a wide range of scientific interest on ancient Thracian culture.
Bringing together music, word and arts helps to broaden interest and reach new audiences. Plovdiv, the natural geographical centre of Thrace, has the most legitimate claim and historical right to focus and present the unique Thracian culture through its tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
Europe's oldest living city deserves to defend its right to be the cultural and historical centre of the Balkans and the unifier of Thracian culture, carrying the traditions of its roots into the future.
