The event is held under the patronage of Mr. Georgi Stamenov, Mayor of the Central District, Plovdiv Municipality.

On the occasion of the celebration of the three anniversaries, we are organizing the exhibition Embroidered Traces, dedicated to the three anniversaries, which presents information and unique documents about the life of Rositsa Chukanova, which are published for the first time - photographs of the letters to Valko Chervenkov, the speech of Hr. Vakarelski at the opening of the last exhibition of Rositsa Chukanova, an invitation to Vladimir Dimitrov-Maystora, photos of the royal family with photos made by R. Chukanova's clothes, objects made by the collective from Rositsa Chukanova's albums, all her published books. Visitors will have the opportunity to see unique works by Rositsa Chukanova, made during her 60-year creative career, displayed for the first time. Some of the items have been returned to Bulgaria from Switzerland by Mrs Galina Angelova Mayer. Panels about the life of Janka Arsova will also be presented, as well as embroideries designed and consulted by her.

We will also present the new book Embroidered Traces, which traces the history of the Collective, the life of its founder - Janka Arsova and its patron - Rositsa Chukanova. The founder of the Collective and its members are researchers, performers and zealous guardians of the traditions of Bulgarian embroidery. They have created and found its application in contemporary clothing and lifestyle and have left lasting traces.

The event is aimed at the general public: ethnographers, model makers, designers, lovers of Bulgarian embroidery, masters of folk crafts, children, adolescents and school students involved in clothing and applied arts.
