Day of Liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Dominion​

The Liberation Day, officially known as the Day of Liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Dominion is celebrated on 3 March. It commemorates the Liberation of Bulgaria during the events of the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878).

Solemn commemoration of the 145th anniversary of the Liberation of Bulgaria and
National holiday of the Republic of Bulgaria
Official speech - Alexander Sekulov, presenter - Hristo Hristov
Wreath and Flower Laying Ceremony, featuring a pageant platoon, wreath bearers and a military brass band

12:30 p.m. Stefan Stambolov Square
Big Band Plovdiv concert, conductor Nikolay Geshev and soloists from Art Voice Center - Plovdiv, leader Rumyana Ivanova

1.30 p.m. Monument to militiamen

Memorial service for the fallen Bulgarian soldiers. Laying of wreaths and flowers, with the participation of a representative platoon, military brass band
