One of the most popular, beloved and representative ensembles of the Armenian diaspora in Plovdiv - the Erebuni Vocal-Instrumental Ensemble celebrated its anniversary with a special concert "50 Years of Creative Path". The event will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the International Fair Plovdiv. Entrance is free!

Soloists and guest performers from near and far will join in to make this momentous anniversary a glamorous and festive occasion. Among them are Raffi Zhamakorjian, Mary Movsesian - Kaludova, Ilin Papazian, with the participation of the dance group "Yerazank" and "Nereni" of the Parekordzagan  - Plovdiv.

Erebuni Vocal-Instrumental Ensemble (the name of the old capital of Armenia) was founded in 1971 in Plovdiv. "Erebuni" has released 5 CDs, and in the last one "Havadum em" ("I believe") the performer from Burgas - Mary Movsesyan - Kaludova participated. The artistic director is Ardash Erniasyan.

In 2015, again under the auspices of the Pan-Armenian Charitable Union "Parekordzagan", a dance group "Nareni" (translated from Armenian - the pomegranate fruit) was established in Plovdiv. The mothers of the children from the children's dance group "Asthigner", formed in 2012, are members of the group. The idea to dance Armenian dances arose spontaneously and it became a family activity. This is how the dance group of mothers "Nereni" was born. The choreographer of the group is Angela Veziryan-Nacheva.

The concert is realized with the assistance of the Department of Culture, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage of the Plovdiv Municipality.
