On 22 October (Saturday) Plovdiv will celebrate the International Mavrud Day and Bulgarian wine with a thematic Urban Wine Fest - Plovdiv.

Expect:
Wine bar with a special selection of Bulgarian wines from local varieties;
Culinary delights with which chefs will highlight local products and their pairing with Bulgarian wines;
 Lots of mood, smiles, meetings, introductions and unforgettable emotions to the sounds of selected music by a local DJ.
With the help of our wine professionals, the guests of Urban Wine Fest - Plovdiv will (re)discover not only the Mavrud variety, but also many other lesser-known Bulgarian varieties from established winemakers from all over Bulgaria.

Entrance to Urban Wine Fest - Plovdiv is free.

Consumption will be paid on the spot.

We will be glad if you bring your favorite wine tasting glass. For those who do not bring their own glass, we will provide the option to purchase or use for a deposit.

The International Mavrud Day is an initiative of the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals and is held under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism and with the official support of the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Agriculture, Plovdiv Municipality, Thracian Tourist Region Management Organization and Plovdiv Tourism Council.
The event is not suitable for persons under 18.
