International Day of the Youth

On August 12, the International Youth Day will be celebrated in OP "Youth Center Plovdiv" for another year. And this time, the team has prepared a program entirely inspired by the ideas of young people in our city.

From 6:00 p.m., as part of the youth initiatives implemented by the center, an event will be held in a more fragmented and interesting format - "living library". This is an innovative method that aims to create a dialogue, to meet live curious "readers" and personalities who can tell about their professional or life path, to break stereotypes, provoking understanding and interest.

Then at 7:30 p.m., a different edition of Board Game Nights kicks off. The young Miroslav Garigov from Plovdiv will take part in it. He will present the two board games he has created, and participants will have the opportunity to both hear more about the creative process itself and spend a fun evening with the center's team and volunteers.

The event was realized as part of the project "Youth Center Plovdiv - a powerful factor for local development" under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups", financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
