Chamber concert of "College OSANNA"

"College OSANNA" will perform for the first time works by composer Georgi Popov, laying the foundations of a kind of musical Pantheon. Four small cantatas for piano and voices based on verses by Ivan Vazov will be played. From "Epic of the Forgotten" - "Rakovski" (with a fragment of his "Symbol of Faith"), "Levski", "Paisii" and from "The Sorrows of Bulgaria" - "Lady Strangford". For the first time, 12 piano miniatures will be played, as well as a small cantata on one of the first anonymous poetic texts in Bulgarian literature "Praise for Tsar Simeon".

OSANNA Collegium consists of singers and instrumentalists of different ages and nationalities who create and perform ancient and contemporary spiritual music.

Dr. Elitsa Hristova - conductor, pianist

Olga Tsvetkova is a soprano

Boryana Terzieva - mezzo-soprano

Boris-Mikhail Popov - bass

The concert is free and is part of a series of concerts organized by the project "Youth Association-Bulgaria" Invisible spaces and forms, in partnership with many libraries in the country.

The events are realized with the financial support under the program "Musical Initiatives I" '21 of the National Fund "Culture".
