Regional Archaeological Museum - Plovdiv

As part of the celebrations for its 140th anniversary, we are pleased to announce an exhibition that we aim to make a tradition.
The exhibition "Discoveries 2021" is the first of a series of annual exhibitions in which the museum will present the most interesting finds of its archaeologists from the previous year. It will also be an account of the museum's significant archaeological activity.
And since archaeology, like any science, uses various complicated definitions, a free leaflet - a short "Glossary of unfamiliar words" - is provided for visitors. With its help, young and old will be able to experience the exhibition in a different way and learn something new while having fun.
We invite all Plovdiv residents and guests to a journey into the past that will make them love the city of hills even more.
In order to get more people involved in the event, the opening will take place on May 18, online on the museum's Facebook page.
