Welcome to the first event of this year's international festival Hеllo, Armenia. It is going to begin on 02.05.2022 at 17:30 h. on str. "Rayko Daskalov". The exhibition Ararat - The Soul of Armenia is created by the British photographer - Raffi Youredjian.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the Municipality of Plovdiv.

Raffi Youredjian is an adventurer, writer, and photographer who has traveled to every continent. He worked for Discovery Channel based in London where he is a member of the Royal Geographical Society. He studied at the prestigious Falmouth University of Arts in Cornwall that have been leaders in producing a new generation in the media field. Throughout his travels he has had a keen eye at documenting the beauty of nature and capturing people. Behind the lens Raffi tries to share the experience of new destinations, and open people's curiosities about the outside world. He enjoys the challenge in his journeys and has climbed the top of Kilimanjaro and Ararat in mountaineering expeditions. Wherever he travels he always stays connected to his Armenian roots, from placing the Armenian flag in Antarctica to supporting the London Armenian community with his photography.
His photos have been exhibited in London, Barcelona, Bucharest, Sofia, Plovdiv, Yerevan, Etchmiadzin, and the UN in Brussels. He has also been published recently with his collection of photos of Armenian churches the book Destruction of Monuments in Eastern Christianity.
Most recently he worked with the Bulgarian Embassy in Armenia as part of Plovdiv European Capital of Culture 2019 to do a series of photos that were exhibited at Yerevan State University and more recently in Plovdiv’s sister city Gyumri.
As well as a photographer he is also a keen cyclist and writer, with his travel book, Tour de Armenia, documenting his comical cycling adventures around the country. He has relocated to Armenia in 2018 and now resides in Yerevan.
