"LIGHT AND HOPE IN THE OLD TOWN"

Traditionally, the festive month of December brings good mood, optimism and faith in the magic of charity. For another year, the team of the Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv" invites you to celebrate the festival "Light and Hope in the Old Town". It will once again bring together representatives of different ethnic groups, friends and partners to light TOGETHER the lights of a live Christmas tree on Atanas Krastev Square (Lapidarium).

This year's edition of the festival includes: exterior exhibition "THE OLD TOWN IN FOUR SEASONS" by photographer Dimitra Lefterova; photo corners in the yards of the house of Dr. Stoyan Chomakov (permanent exhibition of Zlatyu Boyadzhiev), Balabanov house and Hindliyan house; exhibition of works by students from the classes of fine arts at School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius ”(on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the school); Christmas exhibition and concert of students from AMTII "Prof. Asen Diamandiev” Plovdiv in the newly restored house of “Veren Stambolyan”.

Welcome on December 2 (Thursday) at 17:00 h. on Atanas Krastev Square (Lapidarium).

The events will be held in compliance with the anti-epidemic measures introduced in the country.

Opening of the exhibition "The Old Town in Four Seasons" by photographer Dimitra Lefterova.
The exhibition is located in courtyards and street spaces with locations: the house of Dr. Stoyan Chomakov, Balabanov house, Hindliyan house, Chohadhiev house (management of  Municipal Institute "Ancient Plovdiv") and on the street "4th of January".
The author Dimitra Lefterova is a photographer in the field of event and art photography.
