"The Road to the Top" 2021 Musical event
"The Road to the Top" leads Plovdiv residents through 6 scenes with "BRASS ON THE HILL" at the Bunardzhik
In the past 2020, the magnificent music of Sting in a symphonic arrangement announced the Hill of the Liberators (Bunardzhika Park) in Plovdiv on September 14. This happened during the unusual concert Sting The Opera of the orchestra of the State Opera-Stara Zagora and the Military Big Band with conductor Captain Tsvetomir Vassilev. The soloist was the Plovdiv jazzman Petar Salchev.
The idea of the organizers from the Department of Culture, Archeology and Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Plovdiv and the Central District was to turn the whole area of Bunardzhika into a space for music. There were grand pianos, chamber ensembles and performers in various places leading the audience to the stage at the top of the hill, and the big concert took place there.
The event is called "The Road to the Top". This year, on September 19, from 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm, the second edition will take place, and the motto is "BRASS ON THE HILL".
The curator of the program is again the team of the Association for Culture and Education "Milcho Leviev", in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Archeology and Cultural Heritage at the Municipality of Plovdiv. The event is part of the Autumn Salon of Arts in Plovdiv 2021 and is free!
