Free screening of four films in Plovdiv for the anniversary of Bulgarian cinema - January 13 

On the occasion of 109 years since the first screening of a Bulgarian film, the National Film Center - Sofia invites in Plovdiv on January 13th to Lucky - Home of Cinema from 7:00 p.m. screening of four Bulgarian films, which will mark the anniversary. There will be screenings on the same day and time in Sofia and Varna. All screenings have free entry.

The organizers have selected films that undoubtedly distinguished themselves with achievements in the past year 2023 at the festivals for feature cinema "Golden Rose" and documentary and animation cinema "Golden Rhyton". We will see the films: "Trace" - award for animated film "Golden Rhyton" 2023; "Quiet in the Snow" - Golden Rose Short Feature Film Award 2023;

"Cinematic Extremists" - documentary film, prize of the National Film Library within the framework of the "Golden Rhyton" festival 2023; Defacement - Award for Debut Animated Film "Golden Rhyton" 2023.

The following will take part in the celebration of the holiday in Sofia: Film library cinema "Odeon", Cultural center G8, Eurocinema, Stage " Derrida ". In Plovdiv - Lucky - Home of Cinema, in Varna - FCC, and in "Vlaikova" cinema the film "Looking for a husband for mom" will be screened, which will mark the 80th anniversary of the inimitable Tsvetana Maneva.
