The Nevena Kokanova Drama Theatre - Yambol is visiting Plovdiv with the famous play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams.

The production starring Joanna Bukowska-Davidova, Yanina Kasheva, Ivan Stanchev, Mikhail Lazarov, Maria Panayotova , Georgi Ruzhichka will be performed on March 29, 2023 at 7 pm at the Boris Hristov House of Culture.

Tickets are on sale at the MaskArt ticket office in the House of Culture and the Grabo.bg network.

The director is Boyko Iliev, the set and costumes are by Janeta Ivanova. The play tells about the relations in the family of the richest planter in the South, exacerbated to the extreme, but covered with hypocrisy and lies. Whether wealth and greed are at the root of this ruin or a lack of sincerity, consideration and love will be revealed when everyone comes together on his last birthday.

"Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" has had its three screen versions, a Pulitzer Prize for playwriting, numerous respectable critical reviews, and seven decades of acclaim from audiences around the world.
