Exhibition "Sustainable fashion and design in the countries of the Visegrad Four"

Liszt Institute - Hungarian Cultural Institute in Sofia invites residents of Plovdiv and guests of the city to an exhibition entitled "Sustainable fashion and design in the countries of the Visegrad Four", which will be exhibited in Hindliyan House.
The official opening will take place on October 12, 2022 (Wednesday) at 18:00 at Hindliyan House, 4 Artin Gidikov St.
The exposition presents 10 sustainable fashion and design brands from the countries of the Visegrad Group: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. They have taken on the task of designing and manufacturing their products in accordance with the idea of sustainability: they use natural materials, look for ecological and innovative alternatives, use recycled and/or recycled materials, work locally and try to achieve zero-waste production with focus and on social impact.
The exhibition is organized by the Liszt Institute - Hungarian Cultural Institute Sofia on the occasion of the Hungarian Presidency of the Visegrad Group in 2021/2022. Partners are the Czech Center Sofia, the Polish Institute in Sofia and the Embassy of Slovakia in Sofia, with the assistance of the Melba Festival. The gracious host of the event is the Municipal Institute Ancient Plovdiv.
The "Hungarian" part of the exhibition is carried out with the help of the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency (HFDA), formed in 2018 with the aim of providing effective and structured support to every participant in the field of fashion and design in key strategic directions - specialized coordination, improving the accessibility and marketability of Hungarian products, developing education and production.
The exhibition can be visited until October 21. Entrance is free, working hours from 9:30 to 18:00 (Mondays are days off).
