Mono INC, Pain of Salvation and Ihsahn on three consecutive days in the Ancient Theatre

September 20, 21 and 22 are the days you should be in Plovdiv!

This September, rock fans from Bulgaria and neighboring countries will again fill Plovdiv, because three exclusive concerts for the Balkans are coming up.

Here is the exact schedule:

September 20, 2024 (Friday) - Mono INC September 21, 2024 (Saturday) - Pain of Salvation , Klone and Me and my Devil September 22, 2024 (Sunday) – Ihsahn

The news is even better because September 23rd (Monday) is an official holiday, so September's Plovdiv rock celebrations are going to be wild!

Both single tickets for each concert and an opportunity to purchase a general, three-day ticket will be available to fans.

On September 20th we'll be seeing Mono INC - they're a German goth band who take their name from Monomania - a popular 19th-century diagnosis of a mental disorder that basically manifests itself as a "momentary insanity" of otherwise sound mind. A great reference to the crazy experience that awaits us in the warm Plovdiv evening!

The evening of September 21 will begin with a performance by the Bulgarians from Me and My Devil - a group in which Plovdiv-born Angel Kasparyanov stands at the forefront , supported by the two musicians from ODD CREW - Vasil Parvanovski (guitars), Martin Stoyanov (bass), as well as Deyan Dragiev - Dakata (drums). After them we will listen to the wonderful French art-rock band Klone . The headliners are progressive rock stars Pain of Salvation . They are widely known for their incredible instrumental prowess, many musical influences and references and dark poetic approach! From their first album in 1997 until now, Pain of Salvation have a reputation as unpredictable artists, constantly experimenting with musical styles. Of course, in Plovdiv they will be led by Daniel Gildenlöw – the band's legendary vocalist, songwriter and guitarist.

On September 22, it's the fans of the motela from Norway, because the singer of Emperor - Ihsahn will appear on the ancient stage of the Ancient Theater ! This unique artist will visit Bulgaria for the first time with his band and we must admit that the impatience for the first meeting with him is great, as it is certain that we will witness one of the best concerts of recent years, - a concert outside the trivial, with a non-standard sound and a unique atmosphere in the magical setting of the centuries-old Ancient Theater in Plovdiv. These days, multi-instrumentalist , composer and producer Ihsahn focuses his energies on creating and performing as a solo artist. On February 16 this year, he released his new concept album titled Ihsahn ( Candlelight Records , 2024 ), performs the vocals, again plays all the instruments alone (guitars, bass, keyboards ), except only the drums.
